ACTING | PERFORMANCE
Matthew King Acting Resume
Acting is not my profession—it’s a passion. It keeps me grounded in the moment, connected to my body, and curious about the human condition.
Whether it’s Shakespeare, Sartre, or a short indie film, I approach each role as a way to listen, feel, and discover something new about myself, others, and the quiet truths that live between the lines.
I’ve performed in classical and contemporary productions, trained with gifted instructors, and supported artists behind the scenes as a producer, casting director, and creative consultant.
What I love most is the repetition, the process of embodiment, and the invitation to transform—not just into a character, but into a deeper version of myself.
While I don’t act professionally, I take the craft seriously. It has become one of the ways I stay creative, practice presence, and explore empathy.
